Deposit policy

              A K 3500.00 deposit is required on all rental types at the time of rental along with the total amount due for the rental. The deposit is refunded once the vehicle is returned if no further charges apply.

NON SMOKING VEHICLES

           Please DO NOT smoke in any of our vehicles. Our entire fleet has been designated as NON-SMOKING. A PGK 250.00 charge will apply if any cigarettes smoke is detected.

INSURANCE POLICY

         Zap Hire & Escort Services has company self-insured vehicles charging K 50.00 per day which covers up the damage or loss up to K 3000.00. The Rental Agreement clearly states that the RENTER of our vehicle is held responsible for any and all damages caused to a third party if at fault.

RATE MATCH POLICY

              We will match ANY base rate you may find from our local competitors.* Our price match policy is very specific, please read carefully and conform to the policy in its entirety in order for us to consider a price match.

               A valid quote from the competition showing the same dates/times of rental, car class, office pick-up and return locations, rate information including all fees as quoted or reserved by Zap Hire & Escort Services. A price match request must be sent 24 hrs or more prior to the rental, no price matches will be offered on the same day as your rental. Please send all quotes to zapreservations@gmail.com.

            *Subject to vehicle availability and applicable during off seasons only and does not apply to long weekends or any holidays in between. Price match can be eliminated at any point without previous notice due to amount of reservations or availability.

Office hours

              The Central Reservations office is at Jacksons Parade and Customer Service booth at Jacksons Airport are open Monday – Friday from 08:00 hrs – 17:00 hrs and Weekends 08:00 hrs – 15:00 hrs.

 

                 The office will be closed from 12PM to 1PM everyday for lunch.

High season reservations policy

             Due to the high demand during high season a strict ONE HOUR grace period for reservation arrivals is observed. If you think that you will arrive late for your reservation you must call to extend your arrival time in order to avoid your reservation to be automatically cancelled.

DEBIT CARD RENTAL RULES

                 ONLY bank issued debit cards that work with a bank account are permitted. No pre-paid cards are allowed. Any category vehicle can be rented. A k 3500.00 deposit is required for all rentals. The deposit is charged at the time of rental and a refund is given for K 3500.00 once the vehicle is returned on its due date and no further amount is due.

WARNING: Although Zap Hire & Escort Services immediately gives a refund the actual refunded amount may take between 5-7 business days to reflect onto your account depending on your bank.

Age Requirements

Minimum Age: 21

Chauffeur Drivers

                  Chauffeur drivers are permitted with anadditional charge of K 75.00 applies per day Driving Area

Hired Car cannot be taken out of the concerned province. Prior information must be given while doing the booking. Insurance charged on the customer will not cover if any damage or loss occurs.

Fuel Policy

            Vehicles must be returned with the fuel tank: Full Fuel surcharges will apply if the customer didn’t re-fill the same quantity of fuel, when it was checked out. Price depends on current market. Ask at counter.

Cancellation Policy

          Cancel at any time however a 24 hour advance cancellation is greatly appreciated. Should the cancellation be due to the rate please let us know that you found a lower rate.
